Patricia first met Malek while he was playing a set at his friend`s bar, @clandestino_mtl , in the Old Port of Montreal.
It made perfect sense to go back there for their engagement shoot. With me as the third wheel of course.
They started off with some of the best tequila on the planet, followed by Malek mixing some tunes for her for old times sake.
I still can`t believe it`s my job to meet fascinating people every week. To document a part of their story, and to finally see them with their friends and family on one of the biggest days of their lives.

I was the photographer for Clémence`s sister`s wedding a few years ago. To be able to come back and capture memories for her special day and to see her family again gave me immense joy. I am Brent Calis Photography
I am a Montréal based Canadian photographer/ opera singer/ salsa dance fanatic. I try to convey my passion, creativity and energy through every picture I take. I'm a graduate of McGill's Schulich School of Music in Montreal. Yeah. I studied Opera. Now I'm a full time photographer traveling all over the world for various contracts. I combine my background in the performing arts with photography, creating modern, heartwarming and inspiring portraits of life, love and leisure. My goal is to create something that your children can look at when they are older. Their children's children, and even further down the line. In my spare time I travel the world in the pursuit of inspiration for my life and my work. I am happiest when I have a healthy balance in life: Time with friends and family. Hard work. Staying active. And finally, giving at least a little bit of time for nothingness.
